Fall & Winter Classes

NOVA’s 2024 fall classes will begin September 24 and will end on November 21st. Each class will end with a showcase performance. The dates and times of the showcases are yet to be determined.

Tiny Tot Theater

Cost: $120
Age: 4 to 6
Day: Thursdays
Time: 11:15-12:00

Let’s make a play! Students will use their imaginations to tell stories, create costumes, make props, all while learning how to be on a stage, use their voice, and other basic theater skills. Showcase date and time TBD.

Creative Drama

Cost: $180
Age: 6 to 8
Day: Tuesday
Time: 3:30 to 4:30

Students  explore the world of theater through storytelling, arts & crafts, theatre games and most importantly, their imaginations! Showcase date and time TBD.

Intro to Theater

Cost: $200
Ages: 9-11
Day: Wednesdays
Time: 3:30-4:30

A basic introduction to theater skills. Students will become comfortable performing on stage by playing theatre games, building characters, engaging imagination, and acquiring basic theatrical knowledge.  Showcase date and time TBD.

Acting

Cost $225
Ages: 12-14 OR have completed at least one semester of Intro to Theater. 
Day: Wednesday
Time: 4:00-5:00

In this class students will get a taste of what it’s like to be in a play.  Students will get experience the audition and rehearsal process as well learn the fundamentals of acting such as listening, projecting, enunciation, and ensemble building.  Showcase date and time TBD.

Backstage Pass

Cost: $200
Ages: 9-18
Day: Thursday
Time: 4:30-5:30

Description: This is a great class for students who are interested in theater, but not sure that stage is for them. In this class students will learn what goes on behind the curtain such as costumes, props, lights, sound, and more! Showcase date and time TBD.

Musical Theater

Cost: $200
Ages: Open for all ages
Day: Tuesdays
Time: 5 to 6

Description: Acting, singing, dancing, oh my! In this class students will learn how to become a triple threat! Students will learn the basics of musical theatre while learning music and choreography for a selection of songs.  Showcase date and time TBD.

NOVA’s winter class will begin November 19 and end on December 17th. There will not be class on November 26. NOVA’s Traveling Circus will end with a showcase performance on December 20th at 5:00pm.

NOVA’s Traveling Circus with Montana Premiere Entertainment

Cost: $275
Ages: 5-18
Day: Tuesdays
Time: 4 to 6

Description: The circus is in town! NOVA has partnered with Montana Premiere Entertainment to bring the circus to NOVA. On the first night, students will be introduced to a variety of circus acts. They then will get to choose which skill they would like to focus on for the remainder of the series. The class will culminate in a full circus production for friends and family to enjoy! There will be a showcase performance on December 20th at 5:00pm.
