Description: Join Craig Lancaster—two-time High Plains Book Award-winning novelist and playwright of Straight On To Stardust—for a primer on building stronger characters for stage productions. The four-session course will help aspiring playwrights examine their characters’ backstories and motivations, delve into the interplay among characters, construct the essential dramatic elements of desire and obstacle, and set the stage for writing a stage piece, regardless of genre.
