NOVA Center offers a comprehensive education program designed to nurture talent, build confidence, and develop skills in the performing arts. Our experienced instructors provide professional training in a supportive, creative environment.
Whether you're a beginner exploring theatre for the first time or an experienced performer looking to refine your craft, we have a class for you. Winter Classes - Movement for the Stage

In Movement for the Stage, students will learn how to walk, gesture, and interact with their space to create a character and to tell a story.

Spring Classes - Storytime Theater

Join us for this 45 minute class where we introduce the magic of theater and storytelling to your child. Your child will learn how to tell a story through theater games, imagination, focused listening, and exploring.

Spring Classes - Creative Drama

Let’s play! Students will learn how to put on a play using theater games, learning how to follow stage directions, building an ensemble, and focused listening. They will also learn about their Actor’s Toolkit: Body, Voice, and Imagination!

In Intro to Theater students will get a crash course in many different types of theater including improv, puppetry, reader’s theater, miming, to name a few. They will also learning other skills needed in theater such as projecting, enunciation, backstage etiquette, and more!

Spring Classes - Acting 2

In Acting 2 students will study scripted work from various theater genres, hone their abilities to use their bodies, voices and imagination to develop a character, and work through the rehearsal process.

Spring Classes - Musical Theatre
Instructor: Janie Sutton
Acting, singing, dancing, oh my! In this class students will learn how to become a triple threat! Students will learn the basics of musical theatre while learning music and choreography for a selection of songs.
