Gilbert and Sullivan’s hilarious, hopeful farce follows young
Frederic, an orphan who has mistakenly been apprenticed to an
ineffectual but raucous band of pirates. He disavows the
pirates’ way of life and falls for the beautiful Mabel.
Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30PM. Sunday matinees
are at 2:00PM*.
Ticket prices are $21/Adults, $16/Seniors &
Military, and $10/Students.

About the director

Jeffrey Grant Kitto’s most recent engagements include
directing and playing Don Jose in Carmen’s Tragedy, the roles
of Calef in Turandot, Frederic in Pirates of Penzance, Duke in
Rigoletto, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Ferrando in Cosi fan
Tutte, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Don Jose in Carmen, Rodolfo in La
Boheme, Nemorino in L’Elisir d’Amore, and Rinuccio in Gianni
Schicchi, among others. Jeffrey has most recently performed
with the Mendocino Summer Festival Opera, Rimrock Opera,
Intermountain Opera, Spokane Opera, Montana Lyric Opera, and
Oregon Lyric Opera. (space)A multiple recipient of The
Metropolitan Opera Auditions National Council Awards, Mr. Kitto
completed his bachelor’s degree in music from Montana State
University.
